Weekend Featured Review: 2012 Honda Civic

2012 Honda Civic
Here's another Japanese Brand car that i want to feature this weekend - the Honda Civic.

The Honda Civic is a line of subcompact and subsequently compact cars made and manufactured by Honda. The Civic, along with the Accord and Prelude, comprised Honda's vehicles sold in North America until the 1990s, when the model lineup was expanded. Having gone through several generational changes, the Civic has become larger and more upmarket, and it currently slots between the Fit and Accord.

The ninth generation of Honda Civic was unveiled as coupe and sedan concept on January 10, 2011 at the 2011 North American International Auto Show. Production generation went on sale last spring. Gasoline (DX, LX, EX, and EX-L), hybrid and natural gas variants were offered. The gasoline-engined lineup includes a sedan and coupe. Both of them will be also offered in Si performance versions.

New technology was added on this generation of Civic, the Honda Eco Assist technology. The first gasoline-only powered Honda to employ such technology to its ninth generation Civic. It is an information system to help the driver adopt a more fuel-efficient driving style, and is proven to improve fuel economy by about 10% for Honda's hybrid vehicles in Japan.

The entire lineup of the ninth generation of Honda Civic is more fuel efficient besides its sleek and aerodynamic body design.

Here's my shared car (video) review from Motortrend. Enjoy watching!
