Just found this interesting tire innovation from an American company based in Nevada. Its quite interesting since they developed the run-flat tire design using polyurethane Elastothane™ elastomer technology instead of rubber. It successfully passed the government's new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 139. Its product's name "The Arcus" is the only polyurethane tire in the world that has passed federal tire safety standards.
